took the dogs for a shortski walk a few minutes ago. just a constitutional through the neighborhood. as we’re nearing my driveway i see a coyote tritty-trottin’ up the street toward us.
rushed the dogs inside…grabbed the nearest camera.
cheeky fellow, looking right at me.
these were taken from my driveway.
know what is strange about the following photo?
not the coyote. i see him all the time, usually around noon when i’m home for lunch. no, what’s strange is the sudden traffic. we NEVER get that many cars driving up the road at once. 6 cars suddenly.
ok, back to work

That guy (or gal) is just out in the middle of the day without a care in the world. I’m always amazed how at ease urban coyotes are with people and cars. Great action shot of him jumping down from the wall.
Comment by Abacus March 28, 2009 @ 6:02 pmHuh, I’m going to post some coyote pictures tomorrow that I took earlier in the week. I wonder if it’s the same one you saw!
Comment by Dennis the Vizsla March 28, 2009 @ 11:28 pmI’m almost as surprised to see that little tot standing on the corner — where’s the adult?
