hey everybody! where are your mad lib words???

i’m not loving being at work right now, i have to say. the project i’m working on is all screwed up. i’d rather be home with my dog. cody bear was acting very listless these last two mornings. i hope he’s ok.

here he is pretending to be a cow…

he’s a grazer! especially when he’s nervous. if we’re on a walk and dogs start barking at him, he will instantly start ripping grass out of the ground as we pass it. which will of course upset his problem stomach.

in the back yard when he’s running h.o.p. (hell on paws) he likes to stop suddenly, look at me like “try to STOP me!” grabs a mouthful of grass and takes off at top speed. he’s crazy. that’s my guy.

Sounds adorable. I’d like to see him.

Dennis likes grazing too (see “red mutant cow”). At least they’re getting their fiber!

My (now deceased) dog used to graze quite often. Must be the ancient spirit dog calling to them through nature. Or perhaps they just like grass…

Nash does that grass stuff too.

I’m wondering if it’s the change of season? The same morning you wrote this (after a nine-hour shift, it feels like weeks!), Cai was grazing when 9-year-old Lucy the dachshund and her daddy came along. Daddy said his now-departed dog used to graze, but Lucy never did… and then he started laughing because Lucy was grazing too!
